It's a very interesting casino. Very quiet. Clean. The fact security walked up and asked my daughter her age was interesting. There is a movie theater which you have to take a sky bridge to get too. We had to get a bite to eat because it was almost a three hour drive. The Governor Grill was a nice place to eat. Next time I will get something else. It all looked so inviting.

We were visiting Carson City & wanted a late night dinner & came across the Restaurant in Casino Fandango. Reviews suggested it wasn't a great place, but we decided to take our chances. We Loved the decor, our Hostess & Wait Person (Harrison). Our food was cooked how we asked, good size portions & delicious!!! We would definitely eat here again🍽🍻

This casino had major renovations done & it looks beautiful! The casino is bright & cheerful with plenty of slots, video poker & table games. We had a great lunch in the GOVERNOR’S GRILLE & it was delicious & reasonably priced. I had a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with fries & my friend had a wonderful breakfast omelette! We enjoyed our lunch so much that we went back for dinner in DUKE’S STEAKHOUSE! That was really fantastic! Love the soft lighting, beautiful leather booths & oversized chairs, white tablecloths & sailing ships models all around. Alex was our server & he was excellent! I had the double pork chops & my friend had delicious fish. We had a wonderful dinner & I would highly recommend it to my friends. They also have a private dining room for 8-12 persons that is beautifully decorated in an elegant setting with a fireplace… great for a special occasion. The hostess, Gabby, was so sweet & helpful! I highly recommend the FANDANGO & its restaurants for a wonderful time!

On the website the governors grill offers a 5 dollar one topping pizza, I called in a Togo restaurant order for 6 pizzas and they said they couldn’t do that because it’s dine in only (not specified online) go in to order and asked for to go they said I would have to pay full price for the self pizzas (8.00) and a 2.00 fee for each pizza so an extra 5.00 for each pizza! Absolutely insane manager was rude and refused to give me her name….. won’t be going back! Horrible service! One pic is the display sitting at the dine in table the other is online advertisement!

We had dinner at Dukes in the casino and lemme tell ya, if I could give our dinner 10 stars I would. Ever had a meal that was absolutely perfect? Well we just did. Service was exemplary, from the hostess to the server Alex. We had the scallops and ribeye and they were both absolutely perfect. The escargot was over the top excellent. Even the soup and salad were perfect. Did I take pictures? Heck no. We ate it, ain't nobody got time for that. We will be back, for sure. And the icing on the cake? It wasn't terribly expensive either.

Sitting at the blackjack table next to a highly intoxicated player disrupting the game, yet one server for the entire casino. I've been in the hotel next door 4 months, and yes drinks are free, just good luck getting service. Very sad they have one server and she does not move fast at all. Waited 10 minutes after pressing service button, and another 15 to get my drink. I'll just Uber to the more reputable Casinos in Carson City.

After being ignored at the guest services counter at Lucky Strike, we came to the Fandango only to be ignored at the bar. The bartender ignored us for at least 5-7 min then two guys came and sat down next to us, and the bartender immediately came over to them and asked if they wanted anything. Then he walked away and didn’t even look at us. I honestly don’t understand why this happened and I’m very disappointed. In the last 9 months or so, I’ve had a positive experience with the cocktail servers on the floor as opposed to at the bar itself. If you sit at the bar, it’s apparently a $20 buy in & .25 cent minimum bet. Doesn’t always feel friendly to sit at the bar here. The floor is much better, and now that they’re done renovating it’s much nicer to navigate. Their machine selection is by far the best in Carson—both a wide range of the older games as well as the new. They don’t seem to be phasing out the older games like many of the casinos are now. So I appreciate that aspect very much. They also have penny 4 card keno, which is great. Overall, positive place. Bar is sometimes not so great, but the rest makes it worth it regardless. The restaurant staff is pretty great too—their food isn’t as good as I was hoping, & we were told recently that the kitchen closes at midnight even though it’s advertised as being 24/7, so I’m not sure if this is accurate or not. But their fries are great.

Good food and atmosphere. My Mom, Grandma, and I all like their row of old style physical reel slot machines. Only complaint is that their chairs aren't very comfortable to sit in for hours at a time.

I love this place! We travel hours to come here. It's got great games, awesome employees. They are very friendly. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The best place in Carson hands down.

been coming here for years with my grandparents every Sunday after church. They spent so much money re-remodeling the governor’s grill and yet every time we’ve eaten there there since the remodel their service is subpar their food is slow and burnt to wait over an hour for a burnt burger is ridiculous. Ridiculous. Furthermore, I understand it’s 21 and up for gambling, but to have my infant asleep in her car seat at my feet. While I play video poker with my grandma to me, is not a reason to be approached by two men very aggressively asking me to leave. This is the last bad experience that I will allow myself to have at casino fandango. It’s easy to see why they’re empty
