Really fun cruise. Lunch was good, lots of southern staples. Staff were all terrific. Huge ship to explore, lots of great views and very informative facts while sailing. Full bar if you wanna by drinks. Definitely worth it.

My husband and I did an afternoon riverboat cruise with our 9 month old. It was a lot of fun, very relaxing way to just take a break from exploring on foot and spend 90 minutes learning more about the area and the river. The boat is really cool and feels like a novelty to be on. We got a couple of drinks that weren't anything special but they were strong, so can’t complain. The guide over the speaker was nice and informative, definitely entertaining. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful, everyone was in a good mood. We did have a stroller with us so we were able to make it to the 3rd floor only by elevator, the top deck was pretty inaccessible unless we took everything out and folded it up to carry it. So I’d say the top deck isn’t very accessible for wheelchairs or families with strollers, just something to think about. The photos taken were a sweet and easy souvenir! I’d say you have to do this at least once!

We took the sightseeing cruise on the Georgia Queen with Savannah Riverboat Cruises and had a great experience! Our tour guide, Gage, was fantastic—super informative, engaging, and funny. He shared interesting bits of history along the way and kept things light with some good jokes. The boat itself was very nice and clean. We didn’t do the lunch or dinner cruise, just sightseeing, but it was still a great time. I highly recommend sitting on the 4th deck at the front for the best views of the river—it makes a big difference in what you can see. They do sell drinks onboard, and while they were good, they are on the pricey side. During the tour, you’ll mostly see a lot of shipping containers, cargo ships, and the shipping yard, along with a glimpse of an old fort. There isn’t a ton of scenery beyond that, but it’s still an enjoyable and relaxing ride thanks to the atmosphere and great guide. Overall, I’d recommend this cruise if you’re in Savannah and want to enjoy the river and learn a bit of history along the way.

We enjoyed going on the sunset cruise and truly had a wonderful time! The views along the Savannah River were breathtaking, especially as the sun dipped below the city skyline. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, the staff was incredibly friendly, and everything was smoothly run. It was a perfect way to wrap up a beautiful day in Savannah, definitely something I would recommend to everyone!

I went in the sunset cruise with a large group. This was my first experience on a cruise because I get extremely motion sick in cars and on planes. Once I moved from inside of the third floor up to the open fourth floor my body regulated from seeing the open water and feeling the strong breeze blowing through my curls. I wasn’t motion sick any of the two hours and had an absolute blast. Between our large group and the other passengers being totally fun we all enjoyed dancing hard, laughing hard, chatting, and completely enjoying ourselves while making unforgettable memories. The views of Savannah at night from the river were beautiful. The sunset was absolutely perfect… The only negative was the food. It was overly seasoned and not the best. There looked to only be one cook for the entire boat. The food is a pass. Have dinner on the shore.

This is a must experience while in Savannah. I enjoyed the 330 cruise. Capt Z gives a great narration of the surrounding buildings and history. Capt Z is an absolute delight to listen to. It was a ninety minute cruise. You can purchase food, alcoholic beverages, ice cream, etc. You can walk around the ship during the cruise and enjoy the scenic views from the river. The third floor is air conditioned if you need to escape from the heat. There is plenty of seating. I included pictures for your reference.

Man, this was nice. It was just sooo hot. We did the sightseeing tour of the cruise. Learned some fun facts about Savannah. Had the cannon fire at 1:45, at Fort Jackson, which made me jump. The crew was friendly. Other passengers were friendly. This is a big boat. 4 levels and great assortment of drinks. Ice cream station and an eatery with real food. Beautiful views from the boat. Go at least one time. There were a lot of people on E. River Street, so parking was not smooth.

After reading mixed reviews, I decided to take my family on the narrated luncheon river boat cruise and see for myself. I made a great decision! We got there an hour before we left port to have time to eat. And you can return as much as you like until 2pm to the buffet. They give you an assigned table. The dining area was very nice and clean. The server was busy since everyone came in at once but she was professional and prompt. We tipped her $10. The food selection was all the southern staples. The food was very good. It’s not “buffet“ it’s more like a nice catering experience of Southern foods. Shrimp and grits, greens, mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac and cheese, the cornbread was soooo good, tea and soft drinks included, fried chicken, banana pudding and peach cobbler, etc. It’s not gourmet but I’m from the south so I can say I was definitely happy. They use white cloth napkins here and nice silver. Then once we were done eating the boat left dock and we went to the very top. There is an elevator. The young and handsome tour guide was extremely pleasant to listen to. He told many stories and facts clearly and professionally about what we were seeing. You can hear him through speakers anywhere on the boat. We saw the old fort and went under the big bridge. It was beautiful and we were able to get included drinks again at the third deck bar where they also sell other beverages and food to purchase if you just got the tour without lunch. They have a separate ice cream section with an attendant. One small scoop is $6 and up. Various flavors. The bathrooms were big and nice, clean. On the way back when we were docking, the trombone player on lame played some songs for our arrival. That was neat. It was a fun and filling lunch with nice views and lots of info. It didn’t take all day and was just the right amount of time. I would recommended. I’ve been on the biggest ship of Royal Caribbean and I can say this company really tries hard to give a great experience.

I 100% recommend and would do the Savannah Riverboat narrated sightseeing cruise aboard The Georgia Queen again! Captain Z on the 3:30 cruise today did a wonderful job of stepping us through history as well as providing current day highlights about Savannah and the river as we cruised up and down the Savannah River on our 90-minute tour. We've been doing tourist adventures around Savannah while vacationing here this week and loved this experience the most!

Booked the sunset cruise with the dinner and birthday package, and it was wonderful! Flowers on the table, a bottle of wine when we wanted it, and good food at the buffet. Beautiful 360 views on all decks and overall great experience!
