Just stayed for a week with our 2 kids ages 7 and 9. All of us loved the property and had so much fun. We usually stay in Hilton hotels and eat out so this was a big change for us having a 2 bedroom with full kitchen to cook in. It was also nice to be able to grill outside on nice clean grills. Everything at the place is like brand new as of 2025. Every staff member was great from arrival to departure. The showers for use on final afternoon departure are a huge plus and value add. Bummers- The location doesn't really have anything within walking distance. Restaurants, usable beach, shopping, etc. Both hot tubs were broken all week long. A working hot tub is really this dad's only requirement when seeking lodging. We will definitely plan to return in the future and recommend the property.

The Hilton Maui Bay Villas are just okay. The hotel pool has slides that the kids enjoyed and some nice decor with the rock features. The room is comfortable and decently sized. The kitchen is missing salt and pepper and there isn’t a broom to help clean up after sand after a day at the beach, so our feet were constantly covered in sand for our whole stay. Across the street from the hotel is a beach club with a pool and the beach. There are no steps down to the beach. You have to go down uneven, jagged rocks and it’s not swimmable. We did see a sea turtle at the beach near the rocks, that was neat. Our condo was on the ground level and we couldn’t use our patio because the chickens pooped all over the furniture.

We just spent a week here May 7-14 in the Ocean View Villa. Room was beautiful and had more than we needed. This is definitely not a 2 star resort maybe it was before the remodeling .
