This is my first and probably last luau. Although the location is stellar and you're surrounded by lush beautiful greenery with a great view of the sunset, I was a little disappointed with the food. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken was a little overcooked. The pulled pork was okay. The fried fish was the best protein. The desserts disappeared pretty quickly. There were some preshow activities like throwing a spear and bowling. Numerous windows were open for serving adult beverages. The staff were all friendly. The show itself seems long in the wind with numerous dance routines of similar ilk. The chiefs doing their fire dances were excellent.

This is an awesome way to see a Luau, next to the water. Stunning views of the water and sunset. The show was very entertaining and informative about the people coming from different locations in the Pacific. Cousin Zeke was very nice and funny. He personally talked each one of us on the bus. He said we were on the Sexy Bus πŸ˜†. The food was so delicious I wish there was a way to take it home with us.

The entertainment - the Polynesian dancing - was great. Everything else was disappointing. The food was pretty awful. Worse than supermarket pre-packaged potato salad, pasta salad and broccoli salad. There was a dollop of pulled pork on the main course plate but that was the most Hawaiian thing about the food. We were expecting more authentic dishes like poi, Spam-related items and suchlike; i.e. local fare. The food was reminiscent of Golden Corral or Old Country Buffet. The dessert plate was sad - awful chocolate cake, some kind of dessert bar and a sliver of fresh pineapple (again - Golden Corral stuff). We did the highest tier package which gave us two complimentary pictures with a palm backdrop. If you wanted sunset photos against the truly stunning oceanside backdrop, that cost extra. It felt like a medieval renaissance faire with Hawaiian entertainment instead of jousting. The "temporary tattoos" were just paint and won't last past one shower. So, not really temporary tattoos at all, which typically last a few days. Also - I was a bartender and restaurant manager for fifteen years and the alcoholic drinks were dubious. They floated something brown on the Mai Tai but it didnt taste like dark rum at all. I'm not sure what it was. However, the dancers were terrific! Very Hawaiian and very good at what they were doing! If the food had been more authentic Polynesian fare and the drinks had been better, this would have been five stars.

We absolutely loved our experience at Paradise Cove Luau! The Orchid package was definitely worth it, as our seats were in the middle which offered a perfect view of the stage. We also opted for the transportation, and it was a great choice. The coach bus was comfortable, and our host, Mo, was fantastic. He was very attentive and kept everyone entertained on the ride to and from the venue. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a refreshing Mai Tai and a delicious buffet dinner. We had a great time participating in the Polynesian cultural activities and were especially captivated by the performances. I even earned a certificate in Polynesian dancing! Overall, we highly recommend Paradise Cove Luau for a fun and authentic experience.

I really wanted to enjoy this experience, but unfortunately it fell short in several ways. The show itself was very short β€” it started at 7:20 and ended by 8:15, with a 15-minute intermission in between and a 15 minute interactive kids portion. For the price, I expected more substance and length to the performance. We chose the middle-tier package, and while the seating was good, the food was very disappointing. We were looking forward to an authentic Hawaiian meal, but what we received felt more like generic buffet fare, closer to Cracker Barrel quality than a cultural dining experience. The package was also supposed to include two drinks per person, but it turned out to be only about one and a half. They give you a $16 drink card, but each drink costs $9–$12, which doesn’t quite line up with the advertised inclusions. Overall, it just didn’t live up to expectations. Between the short show, the underwhelming food, and the drink setup, I would recommend looking into a different luau experience elsewhere.

We had such a blast! It was an entire experience. We threw spears, we got temporary tattoos, we made floral bracelets. We loved every minute. Ruth was the best waitress ever. Attentive and kind.

Stunning location! Friendly employees. Gift shop sucks. The pork tasted good but was greasy. The dancers were talented but look like they are from the 1980's. Photos are not included in the price. A fun experience overall.

I am writing this review a few years after visiting Paradise Cove luau. Arriving was easy to check in, staff were friendly. There was lots of activities to check out, staff were great. The different performances were all amazing. The food was great. There was a little shop to buy souvenirs. My husband and I really enjoyed this evening. We didn't stay in a room, we were only here for the Luau.

This was an awesome visit, my 3rd time coming to this luau, the last time was 20 years ago. The bus driver Captain Mike & the guide Cousin Sexy were awesome. I laughed so hard I cried. Cousin sexy needs a raise and his own TV show. We had a blast, the food, service and location are all amazing.

Most awesomer time with both food, song and dance... Hawaiian Style! Aloha! And Mahalo! For the fun day and night! I made a furry little friend with the kitty outside the gates. Suddenly I didn't miss my own cats back home.
