The lodge is a comfortable and friendly stay in Waimea - walkable to multiple locations, but off the street in a peaceful and quiet location. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The very best part of the lodge may be the staff, who are warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend.

This Lodge is located perfectly for exploring Waimea. The Hawaiian style cafe is only few minutes walk away, several supermarkets and restaurants are also close by. It's silent during nights, until the chickens wake up at sunrise. The room we had was very spacious, as was the bathroom. Many towels were provided, as well as body wash and soap. The fridge was very handy and the beds were the most comfortable beds we ever experienced in a hotel. The price is reasonable and the service was great (with easy late check in instructions).

An older motel, but clean and comfortable. No issues. Everything worked and it was fine. Our room had 2 double beds instead of 2 queens, so we each slept in a bed by our selves. Office open 8am to 8pm. No free breakfast, but they had free in-room coffee, tea and cups which you can restock daily from office. We would stay again.

Good experience overall. Watch out for the wooden thing at the bottom of the beds. The mattresses are smaller than the bedframe, so if you're not careful they'll get your shins. Also the towel holder on the back of the door clobbered me in the head a few times. I'm not clumsy at all, and I can't even remember the last time I hurt myself on inanimate objects, so... do with that what you will. Everything else was great, though it was awkward having to be there at a specific time to check in because staff wasn't available until after we wanted to leave and before we wanted to go back to the hotel. We had to take a chunk out of one morning to make ourselves available during their office hours.
