This was my third time staying here and I will stay again. :) It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. Our corner room had a view of the new UAB football stadium directly across from the hotel. Great location! Walking distance to several restaurants, the BJCC and also the new Coca Cola Amphitheater if you’re in town for a concert at either location. The rooms do need a little updating as the wallpaper panels are all curling up at the seams. Limited staff interactions but they were all pleasant. Valet parking was backed up after checking out. It was peak time and I think they were short staffed. I did feel bad for the valets because they were RUNNING (and it seemed like the cars were a good distance away) to get the cars. It just seemed like that part wasn’t thought out when the hotel was designed and constructed. We waited almost 10-15 minutes for the car after I had already contacted the automated valet car request line that we were ready for the car via the number 5-10 minutes prior to checking out. There were outdoor couches to sit while we waited.

Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. From the valet, to the front desk and all of the cleaning staff. Everyone I crossed paths with or ran into greeted us and were smiling! As for the rooms, they were clean and comfortable. The king rooms were sold out so we had 2 doubles which were small but still comfy!

I stayed here on a business trip for two nights. The hotel is relatively close to Birmingham Airport, short taxi ride there - there is a shuttle but this was not mentioned on the website or advised by staff at check in.|The check in was …

We had a very pleasant experience at this location. When we arrived, there were a couple of bulbs out in the bathroom; however, when we called the front desk, we were greeted by name, and they sent someone up immediately to fix the issue. The hotel was very clean and felt new. Housekeeping ran a little late in the day and didn’t come on the last day - but I was working in the room, so I don’t think they wanted to disturb me. Overall, 10/10 would stay here over the Sheraton next door.

We had an amazing stay in the presidential suite with an adjoining room. We were in town for the Alabama Shakes concert. We were greeted at the front desk by Jessica who was fantastic. She helped with parking and made sure we relaxed after our travels with a beverage at the bar. Adi prepared some delicious refreshments while the finishing touches were being added in our room. Seth and Nnamdi greeted us and made sure we had plenty of amazing morsels to enjoy before and after the concert. The view from our room was breathtaking! Thank you for making our trip one for the books and going above and beyond to make it so memorable. I can't wait to plan a return trip for our next concert!

You’re better off staying at a Comfort Inn or a Holiday Inn, the email asked when would we expect you I put 1 PM I called at 12:30 to confirm they said 1 PM, is not a guarantee 4 PM check out so we decided to wait till 4 PM got there about 430 still had to sit in the Valet parking for about 30 minutes. Decided to walk in so no rooms were available. Said OK no problem. We waited another 30 minutes in 30 minutes. We waited about 25 minutes to try to get a drink. There’s four people at the bar never received a drink once we actually were able to get into our room came down to get something to drink. Our vehicles were still sitting outside an hour later , they have no spa, I would not recommend

I stayed here this past weekend and the staff were wonderful! I had a blast the front desk staff made my stay even better! My only concern was the women in green were very rude, arrogant, and conceited. Each time I went to the front desk I would have to wait a while to talk to someone because they were complaining about everything! I know this isn’t the staffs fault but it was a common issue. Yelling at the staff over every small issue made me feel uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel is great as well as the location! My family and I will be visiting again hopefully they will not be there!

Absolutely TERRIBLE. The rooms smelled like cat pee and someone from their staff charged my credit card $688 and are refusing to give me a call back. I keep getting transferred to different departments and how convenient no one is working today. Don’t stay here, they steal Your CC info and make charges.
